What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To knowingly not take advantage of the limited time and graces given to you.
Where would you like to live?: Both in the country and the city.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be assured that all is as it should be.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Self Pity.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Not sure. Certainly Gus from Lonesome Dove comes to mind. Maybe Donald Shimoda of Illusions.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: E.H. Harriman and John Muir pop up. Harriman for his service to SF and Muir because he was such a loner.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: I don't know. Isn't that sad?
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Francie (I think, it's been sooo long since I read it) of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.
Your favorite musician?: Ugg. What a question. Elliot Smith??? Elvis Costello? The Beatles?
The quality you most admire in a man?: A Can-Do attitude.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Grace.
Your favorite virtue?: Gratitude and Piety
Your favorite occupation?: Oy Vey! Reading.
Who would you have liked to be?: Peaceful.
Your most marked characteristic?: The ability to always read my own compass.
What do you most value in your friends?: Kindness and Curiosity
What is your principle defect?: Impatience.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To have not had the family I do.
What would you like to be?: More Peaceful.
What is your favorite color?: Purple
What is your favorite bird?: Hummingbird or Wild Turkey
Who are your heroes in real life?: Not sure. Sad again, isn't it?
What are your favorite names?: Anatole, right this moment.
What is it you most dislike?: Tomatoes! or lack of action.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Faith.
How would you like to die?: Ready.
