What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To knowingly not take advantage of the limited time and graces given to you.

Both in the country and the city.

To be assured that all is as it should be.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
Self Pity.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
Not sure. Certainly Gus from Lonesome Dove comes to mind. Maybe Donald Shimoda of Illusions.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
E.H. Harriman and John Muir pop up. Harriman for his service to SF and Muir because he was such a loner.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
I don't know. Isn't that sad?

Francie (I think, it's been sooo long since I read it) of A Tree Grows in Brooklyn.

Ugg. What a question. Elliot Smith??? Elvis Costello? The Beatles?

A Can-Do attitude.

Grace.
