What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Always feeling like I am in a competition at the place where I work.
Where would you like to live?
I want to live in my original hometown. Atlanta is nothing like Chicago.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
Being married to this one particular person and growing old with her, while being the best that I can possibly, work-wise
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
I set myself up and I act without thinking. Needless to say, I am a bit repulsive.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
I love Detective James Carter from the "Rush Hour" movies because he just says anything he wants out of his mouth and he just doesn't care.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
My favorite character in history has to be Einstein. He was just the most intelligent person alive. I also admire the geniuses of my time. They inspire to strive more to be a genius or just a better person, intellect-wise.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
My favorite heroins are women who are headstrong, fierce, and go-getters. As much as I hate to admit it, a woman at my job named Alyssa MacMilan is my hero...and my enemy.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
As funny as this sounds, my favorite heroines are Lysistrata and Madea. These women both speak their minds, regardless of who is around and who disagrees. And guess what? They're not sorry for it.
Your favorite painter?
I don't have a favorite painter. I enjoy all types of painting.
Your favorite musician?
I'm a huge fan of jazz musicians and especially musicians of yesterday's time, but I have to say that my favorite musician would have to be Etta James.
The quality you most admire in a man?
It is admirable when a man can admit when he's wrong and admit his feelings, even if they are scared to do so.
The quality you most admire in a woman?
I admire a woman's headstrong attitude and I admire it when she goes after what she wants. To add to that, I love it when she presents a no-nonsense persona.
Your favorite virtue?
It makes me warm inside when someone is cool and relaxed, rather than uptight.
Your favorite occupation?
Being an analyst at my job...just until I can work as a writer one day...or any other kind of artist.
Who would you have liked to be?
An artist of any kind, especially a dancer.
Your most marked characteristic?
I am too clever for my own good.
What do you most value in your friends?
I value that they'll tell me what I need to hear, instead of sugar-coating it.
What is your principle defect?
I am not direct with my objectives and what I want, partially due to fear.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
The greatest misfortune would be never having to see Alyssa MacMilan again for the rest of my life, although I can't stand her.
What would you like to be?
Well, I loved to dance...and I still love to dance. So, I wouldn't mind being a dancer.

I don't have a favorite color. All colors are beautiful, unique, and special.

I don't have a favorite. Every flower symbolizes something special and beautiful.

I don't have a favorite. They are all beautifu; and unique.

I don't havr a favorite prose writer. However, I do like writers of the news.

God, my dad, and my work

Adam, Addie (only by certain people), genius (usually out of sarcasm, but I'm totally used to it),
What is it you most dislike?
I dislike when people are afraid to try something new. My thing is you'll never know if you'll like something if you don't try it.
What historical figures do you most despise?
Well, right now, not only do I despise Hitler, but I also despise are soon-to-be-president, Donald Trump. Even saying his name makes me cringe.
What event in military history do you most admire?
I admire the fact that there are people out here who are willing to put their lives on the line for this country.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?
Life would be so much easier for me if I were just upfront with people the first time around.
How would you like to die?
I want to die happily, knowing that I have achieved everything I have ever wanted to achieve with the woman I love right beside me. Question is, "Will she ever be beside me?"
What is your present state of mind?
Well, I'm kind of irritated right now because of the fact that I've just been told that I have to work with Alyssa independently on an out-of-town business trip. It's for a promotion. For this promotion, it's either me or her.

This is a Proust Questionnaire for a character of a movie I am writing. I want it to be called, "The Competition." In this questionnaire, the character's name is Adam Braner. Alyssa MacMilan is his love interest...although he can't stand her and she can't stand him.
