What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Facing injustice.
Where would you like to live?: I have roots in Scotland, so I think I'd like it there.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be able to take back the car crash that paralyzed me and killed Dave, and to be respected and accepted by Aidan.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Pity for myself, but I'm working on it.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: John Mclane, and basically any fictional role involving Denzel Washinton.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Shakespeare, Gandhi, Einstein, Mother Teresa.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Those who serve their country.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Women who fight for what they believe in and prove they are every bit as capable as men.
Your favorite painter?: Da Vinci had a lot of talent. I like Van Gogh's work as well.
Your favorite musician?: I've always been a Beatle's fan.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Someone with a strong moral compass, like those I used to work with on the police force.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Kindness and compassion.
Your favorite virtue?: Integrity.
Your favorite occupation?: Running a security company form home, although I miss being part of something bigger.
Who would you have liked to be?: Someone who is respected in my own home. I wish my stepson could see how hard I try to be there for him.
Your most marked characteristic?: I try to be the voice of reason.
What do you most value in your friends?: People who will have my back as I will have theirs.
What is your principle defect?: I'm too leinient sometimes.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: The loss of my daughter, my wife, or my stepson.
What would you like to be?: I would love to be a police officer again.

What is your favorite flower?: I can't say that I have one. They're all beautiful.
What is your favorite bird?: I used to own a canary, so I'd go with that.

Who are your heroes in real life?: The men and women who serve in the military, the police force, or the fire department.

What are your favorite names?: Trixie, the name of my daughter. I chose it because it means "bringer of joy" and that's exactly what she does.
What is it you most dislike?: My limitations now that I'm confined to a wheelchair, but I try to remain positive.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Stalin, Hitler.
What event in military history do you most admire?: The American Revolution.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Patience.
How would you like to die?: Making my family and my country proud.
What is your present state of mind?: Acceptance.
What is your motto?: You are confined only by the walls you build yourself.
