- Your most marked characteristic?
- Mystery. The fact that no one ever knows what I'm thinking but they flatter themselves with acting like they know how I feel.
- What do you most value in your friends?
- Honesty. Straightforwardness. A sense of humor.
- What is your principle defect?
- Being out in left-field at moments it's not needed.
- What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
- To never love, and not be loved in return.
- What would you like to be?
- Someone I can be proud of enough to love myself at age 60, and then spiral sideways into the coffin as in- 'wow! what a ride!'
- What is your favorite color?
- Anything that makes me marvel at it. For example, I love the beautiful colors of sunrise, but I am more of a sunset/twilight person per se. I love color but I am more of a blue/violet color myself.
- What is your favorite flower?
- Anything different from what I usually see.
- What is your favorite bird?
- Phoenix.
- Who are your favorite prose writers?
- Prose? I know that I love Shakespeare. It's rare that a 'favorite' author of mine would date back to anything in a strictly 'prose' era.
- Who are your favorite poets?
- Pablo Neruda, Sylvia Plath, even Bob Dylan.
- Who are your heroes in real life?
- Eleanor Roosevelt, Martin Luther King, Winston Churchill.
- Who are your favorite heroines of history?
- Eleanor of Aquitaine.
- What are your favorite names?
- Whatever I would like to be called myself, and that's IF anyone would rise to that occasion.
- What is it you most dislike?
- Envy. Dishonesty. Low-class behavior.
- What historical figures do you most despise?
- Custer, Hitler, Andrew Jackson.
- What event in military history do you most admire?
- Any kind where soldiers fought for the freedom to live as we do now. I know it's not much, but can you imagine there being a Berlin Wall everywhere you look? Figuratively or not?
- What natural gift would you most like to possess?
- As opposed to artificial gifts? I would just like to not overthink things. To be spontaneous without regretting what I say afterword, or thinking too hard over a question...
- How would you like to die?
- I said this earlier (inspired by an Irish poem) - to stumble into my grave, all tired and breathless, but with my eyes shining as I exclaim in one sentence how much of a ride my life has been.
- What is your present state of mind?
- I'm looking forward to more questions like these! But I see that there is just one left.
- What is your motto?
- Never Miss Hanukkah? No, how about- there are two paths that you can go by, but in the long run- there's still time to change the road you're on.
