What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To be alone, unloved, without any human comfort.
Where would you like to live?: Wherever pleased me in the moment. I need all four seasons.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be with friends and family, to find romantic love, to be healthy and whole.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Eating.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: The ones that are masculine but can still love deeply, that are loyal and true to their ideals.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Old movie stars, weird writers.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Strong women who can exist outside of men, but still be comfortable with them too.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Bitchy broads who have a silly side.
Your favorite painter?: Mark Rothko or John Singer Sargent.
Your favorite musician?: It changes. Anything with a solid beat.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Loyalty, protectiveness.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Strength of mind, wit.
Your favorite virtue?: Understanding, because I so often lack it in the immediacy of the moment.
Your favorite occupation?: Reading, daydreaming and writing for pleasure. I like running too.
Who would you have liked to be?: Everyone I admire lived a hard life, one that would bother me too much to live myself.
Your most marked characteristic?: My sense of humor.
What do you most value in your friends?: Their ability to grow with me and accept me for who I am.
What is your principle defect?: I can be cruel without thinking and cannot seem to stop myself.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To have grown up uneducated and not knowing love.
What would you like to be?: Kind.
What is your favorite color?: Red, or any bright colors that feel vital.
What is your favorite flower?: Gerber daisies

Who are your heroes in real life?: People who aren't afraid to be vulnerable to hurt. My parents.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Lucille Ball, Bette Davis.
What are your favorite names?: It changes. I like the names Tabitha and Adam for children.
What is it you most dislike?: Pettiness, ignorance.
What historical figures do you most despise?: People who killed without thought, Nazis, inquisitors. They seemed unstoppable.
What event in military history do you most admire?: Taking down a clear bad guy. Defeat of the Nazis. Freeing the oppressed.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Patience. I have none.
How would you like to die?: Knowing I am loved and safe.
What is your present state of mind?: Hopeful for the future yet afraid of things that might never happen for me.
What is your motto?: I don't think I have one.
