What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Losing my sister.
Where would you like to live?: Someplace cool and green.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be surrounded by people who I love and trust and who love and trust me.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: My curiosity and tendency to steal things.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: My life is dark enough, so I like light fables with easy morals.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: I only know the history of my coven. I rarely like the leaders. I tend to like the ones who advise. They seem the cleverest.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Women who know who they are and what they want. I know neither.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: The vixen in the story of the silver vixen with nine tales. She can be any woman and uses that power to take care of her family. She's dishonest and immoral and beautiful and horrible. I love her.
Your favorite painter?: I liked the sand painter from my village. He made the prettiest sunset scenes. He thinks it's my fault his son is missing.
Your favorite musician?: Nature makes the best music. Rain is the nicest song I've ever heard.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Smart, confident, able to teach and able to learn.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Smart, confident, able to teach and able to learn.
Your favorite virtue?: Self-reflectiveness.

Who would you have liked to be?: I wish that I could have been my sister, missing and possibly dead while she could be most definitely alive. Lonely, but living.
Your most marked characteristic?: I'm a natural learner.

What is your principle defect?: Unable to choose my own path.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Losing my sister was. Losing myself is horrible, but not as horrible as that.
What would you like to be?: A person clever enough to figure out what happened to my sister and my village.

Who are your favorite prose writers?: Don't know.
Who are your favorite poets?: The crazy poet locked in the basement.
Who are your heroes in real life?: My mentor. He sees much. Knows much. But shares little.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: The first Abaddon of the Coven was from a small village like my own.
What are your favorite names?: Names that hide secrets.
What is it you most dislike?: Having to hide my skills.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Hmm. Often I don't like the ones who write the histories. They rarely tell the whole truth.
What event in military history do you most admire?: The Northern Knights defeat of the Frost Giants.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: I wish I could sing. I'm horrible at it. I play a pretty good finger flute.
How would you like to die?: Surrounded by those I love.
What is your present state of mind?: Frustrated. Ready to bust out of here and do something with myself instead of training all the time.
