What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To repent in love
Where would you like to live?: Delhi
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To have redeemed all the great promises made in that intoxication and ignorance of a school-boy's idealism, to not prove just any other fellow who loved Ayushi and passed on, but to prove after all that the experience of first touching a soul is simply just not any other chimera.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Hesse's siddhartha
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: A woman with all her natural instincts still unadulterated by these cheap modern simplifications, someone possessing still a certain ancient chivalry, at once an all-devouring tigress, a melting candle and a sighing lover.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Hesse's Kamala, Austen's Elizabeth
The quality you most admire in a man?: A deep thoughtful nature, read in all the tumultuous contradictions that soul can simultaneously embrace, cold but a coolness that is artistic and not a concrete intellectualism.. His awareness and vulnerability to sentimental interpretations of phenomena around him and a sense of something feminine in his own nature.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: A certain all compassing gentleness that sees through the sentimentality and short sighted effusions of men and yet sympathise and care for them.
Your favorite virtue?: Bearing with dignity all the myriad roads that soul travels.
Your favorite occupation?: Reading, reveries, epiphanies, walking and writing verse.
Who would you have liked to be?: Someone who could genuinely love.
Your most marked characteristic?: An ability to relate with any mood or experience, a realization of that which is savage and yet sublime in life, a philosophical bent of mind that prefers to start from the scratch and go all the way through at the cost of whatever price it demands, than to having only a partial, dilute experience or knowledge of things
What is your principle defect?: A certain selfishness, a certain obsession with the idea of greatness.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Never to have met Ayushi.
What would you like to be?: A man who became a man by his own making, who chose to begin with the most savage primitive self in his evolution, than taking a road which could only give him half cooked generalizations of what it meant to be human.
What is your favorite color?: It depends on the kind of state i am in. At this moment, i will say golden yellow.

What is your favorite bird?: The vulture.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Presently, i will say Nietzsche.
Who are your heroes in real life?: I have yet not seen a man whom i could admire with all my heart.
What are your favorite names?: This i prefer to be a momentary answer. The name that first came to mind, Laali.. Captain Laali.
What is it you most dislike?: My past sentimentality and notions of idealism.
What historical figures do you most despise?: I do not find myself enough read yet, to answer.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: An irresistible charm, a light happy disposition, and a manly indifference to things.
How would you like to die?: In a manner that may evoke love and memory in Ayushi for me.
What is your present state of mind?: That of a young boy, looking everything with suspicion and below himself.
What is your motto?: To attain to every of my latent capabilities, to affirm and honor life in all its tender and demonic ways.
