To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Buying beautiful things...clothes, jewelry, art, home furnishings

Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Women who lived outside of the norms set for women, who stretched themselves beyond societal restrictions

What is it you most dislike?: Outdoor areas that are neglected, full of weeds, in disrepair and totally ugly.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Hitler...and all dictators, authoritarian, corrupt leadership...all who see women as property

What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Singing
How would you like to die?: Like Proust...much beloved and in my sleep
What is your present state of mind?: Hope that some insight will come from doing this

In doing this I realize that historical figures do not come easily, even though there are many I admire. I feel I need to do more research to reflect who I am better. However, that is not the intent of a "Proust Questionnaire".
