What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To find out that you couldn't handle everything that comes your way.
Where would you like to live?: Anywhere that seems like a good place to die.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To matter.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: To dream rather than do.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Raskolnikov, Edmond Dantes. The ones who realize their faults.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Hm. I can't really say.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: The ones who dare to do things. Anna Yegorova, in particular.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: The ones who have all the traits I wish I could find in myself.
Your favorite painter?: Klimt. Monet.
Your favorite musician?: Debussy.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Gentleness, sincerity.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Confidence, intelligence.
Your favorite virtue?: Kindness.
Your favorite occupation?: Daydreaming, drawing, writing.
Who would you have liked to be?: Ching Shih, if only because I want to be a menacing threat in a very large boat.
Your most marked characteristic?: Consistently straining myself in an effort to gain attention and feel necessary.
What do you most value in your friends?: Their ability to make me forget.
What is your principle defect?: Letting even the most minuscule of events affect me personally.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To fail.
What would you like to be?: Someone who is genuinely okay in their body and their life.

What is your favorite flower?: Snapdragon, gladiolus, hyacinth.
What is your favorite bird?: I don't care for birds.

Who are your heroes in real life?: I don't have any personal heroes.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Anna Yegorova and Margaret Hamilton.
What are your favorite names?: Anything that fits the person it was given to, i.e. I don't really have a favourite.
What is it you most dislike?: I have to agree with Proust here. All my bad traits.
What historical figures do you most despise?: I don't particularly despise anyone. There are many people from history worth loathing.
What event in military history do you most admire?: When a little Ukranian orphan girl by the name of Nina Onilova laid waste to Nazis using a belt-fed machinegun and some Molotov cocktails.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Confidence and cleverness.
How would you like to die?: Loudly and with a smile.
What is your present state of mind?: Aggravation at wanting everything to be over and done with.
What is your motto?: "Hang in there, baby!"
