What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: All I ever wrote is lost
Where would you like to live?: Japan, in 1863
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: I'll have what he's having

Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Those who are expanding universes, real or otherwise
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Those who believed the present wasn't enough and decided it was up to them to change that.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Those who don't allow their sex limit them and make their way into the world, whaever field they choose.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: those who are unapologetic in whatever they do
Your favorite painter?: (I could never pick one) Caravaggio, Manet, Monet, Hokusai, Mucha, Klimt.
Your favorite musician?: Tchaikovsky
The quality you most admire in a man?: Kindness

Your favorite virtue?: Justice
Your favorite occupation?: Reading, writing, listening to the fire or the sea
Who would you have liked to be?: Alexander the great, I'd love to conquer the world and then die of alchol intoxication.

What do you most value in your friends?: a good sense of humour, I can't live without that
What is your principle defect?: Abruptness, straightforwardness
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To never give miself a chance and allow others to dictate my existence

What is your favorite color?: Any colour other than pink. I appreciate most shades of green and red

Who are your favorite prose writers?: Haruki Murakami, Kurt Vonnegut, Voltaire.
Who are your favorite poets?: Emily Dickinson, Neruda, Sylvia Plath.
Who are your heroes in real life?: Noam Chomsky, Julian Assange, Edward Snowden ,
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Madame de Pompadour, Messalina, Hua Mulan, Hypatia, Marie Curie, Margherita Hack.
What are your favorite names?: Altair, and a few others I can't recall right now.
What is it you most dislike?: Not being able to do more.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Stalin,
What event in military history do you most admire?: I'm never going to admire something achived through violence.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: infallible memory
How would you like to die?: while enjoying myself.
What is your present state of mind?: wondrous and delighted (I'm thinking about travelling)
What is your motto?: As Rick Astley powerfully declared "Never gonna give (you) up"
