What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To want to be free, but being shackled by the expectations of those around you. Knowing that the only way to achieve your freedom is by hurting people, and you don't think the trade-off is worth it. You continue as always, rather than pursuing your dream.
Where would you like to live?
Quiet, peaceful, serene and away from all people. Like a hermit. The only place that intrigues? New Zealand.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
Finding joy in the little things of life, meeting good people and having interesting conversations with them, away form hypocrites, bigots, narrow-mindedness and liars, surrounded by nature and books!
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
Cutting off my nose to spite my face. I am very stubborn, to the point where I will be okay getting hurt, but not buckling under and compromising. My fatal flaw, as it were.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, Annabeth Chase, Faramir, Sherlock (the Cumberbatch version), a person whose strength of character is defined by his honour.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
Nikola Tesla, APJ Abdul Kalam, Bill Gates (still alive, but it counts!) everybody who has preached tolerance and put the happiness of people above personal profit.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
Marie Curie, Anne Frank, Ada Lovelace, JK Rowling, Oprah, anybody who lends a kind hand to those in need.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
Take your definition of pure and choke on it. Hermoine Granger, Annabeth Chase, Katniss Everdeen. Women who were strong to get things done. None of this Bella-worthy definition of femininity.

Van Gogh

Beethoven
The quality you most admire in a man?
Strong enough to know brute sense is no match for gentleness, kindness, wisdom, intelligence and honour.
The quality you most admire in a woman?
Answer same as the one for men. You cannot be a feminist (or equalist) by holding one subset of the population to different ideals than the other.

Honesty, Loyalty, Kindness and Honour

To be understood and loved for being the person I am

Good human beings. I do not voluntarily associate with a*holes,

Lack of patience with socializing, and wilful ignorance of the needs of whiny and entitled brats
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
When wishing for a different life, it might come true with an even worse scenario!

I like the person I am. It took me 27 years to come to terms with that.

Rick Riordan and JK Rowling. Each character of theirs is endlessly fascinating.

Dorothy Parker, Shakespeare and people who emphasize simplicity over unnecessary convoluted flowery lines
Who are your heroes in real life?
A couple of teachers from my school and college. And some random stranger who showed kindness to me as a child.

human callousness, cruelty and stupidity

All the racist bastards
What event in military history do you most admire?
Ashoka laying down his arms after the Kalinga war and becoming the first and only Emperor in the world to forswear all warfare and he became the most peaceful ruler in history.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?
Creative talent
How would you like to die?
After having lived a full and happy life with no regrets over the road not taken
What is your present state of mind?
Despair because the life I want and the life I have are quite different
