What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Not being able to conceive my own children.
Where would you like to live?: In a modest house with my husband and our dogs.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: A fully stocked refrigerator, my husband and dogs, my kindle and lots and lots of comfy blankets!
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Severe addiction to coffee.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Those who make it to the end after enduring everything possible to make it to their destination.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Marie Antionette - there is fascination in her approach to love and life.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Those who have overcome obstacles without passing the blame onto anyone else
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: The characters in Little Women.
Your favorite painter?: A former student. She's 6 and is the most talented person I've ever met.

What is your present state of mind?: I'm exhausted and overworked. Not to mention very stressed. But I am alive and healthy so I guess I am well.
