What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Lonliness that comes from living among people but not engaged with them.
Where would you like to live?: Anywhere but this cold rock.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Living as my true self.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Obsession. I want to know who I am. Who I really am.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: The ones who smile at death and frown at victory; with victory comes boredom.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: The forefounders, of course: Marlow, Cairn, Attadar, Feresien, Singh, and Wythropp
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: My mother...whoever she was; and Yareli: Nobody is a better sister.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Can she outthink and outfight me? I like her.
Your favorite painter?: Really?
Your favorite musician?: Next.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Wisdom; restraint when he most wants to act; action when restraint would have been best. Me? I'm the act-first-and-regret-later-if-I-must kind of guy.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: She's good in her skin because she knows being a woman is more powerful than man any day, and yet, she doesn't act like a man to make her point. She doesn't have to.
Your favorite virtue?: There's a stratification system?
Your favorite occupation?: Ed-docs, definitely. A guy can't have too much education even if he's just a hydroponics farmer.
Who would you have liked to be?: Glad someone finally asked! And now that you do, I'm not sure. Ask me later.
Your most marked characteristic?: I tend to act first because only action will get results.
What do you most value in your friends?: Knowing and being known. Belonging.
What is your principle defect?: Obsession.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Going to war because of a broken communications emitter.
What would you like to be?: Someone who knows himself.
What is your favorite color?: Anything warm. Warm colors are life. Cool colors remind me of a morgue.
What is your favorite flower?: We don't have flowers here. I've seen them on an ed-doc, though. A rose? Maybe a lily. I like how they are both flowers but opposites.
What is your favorite bird?: I'll tell you when we get birds someday.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Huh?
Who are your heroes in real life?: In dire situations, when pushed to it, those who lay down their lives for others.
What are your favorite names?: How many more dumb questions do we have?
What is it you most dislike?: As though knowing that will make a difference.
What historical figures do you most despise?: The forefounders, of course: Marlow, Cairn, Attadar, Feresien, Singh, and Wythropp
What event in military history do you most admire?: The day the world leaders sent the military into space.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Diplomacy. Please.
How would you like to die?: As I've lived: in motion.

What is your motto?: Do Better; Be Better. That's the only thing I'll take from the forefounders.
