What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Having no human interaction at all. If there's one thing I've learned from television, it's that solitary confinement is the best rock bottom.

What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Being surrounded by people whose presence can never grow dull.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Having contempt for the Coke-chugging, Kardashian whore-watching, culturally void. i.e. The majority of America.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: The best characters are the nonheroes! Omar Little, Jeeves, Winston Smith, Don Quixote, Blondie, et al.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Orwell, Marcus Aurelius, Jefferson, Hunter S Thompson, Muhammad Ali
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Malala Yousufzai, Ayaan Hirsi Ali
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Arya Stark, Scout Finch, Lisbeth Salander
Your favorite painter?: I'm not an art enthusiast by any stretch of the imagination, but I'd go with Michaelangelo.
