What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To lose all that I have built. To fail.
Where would you like to live?: in a home that I share with my husband and, one month a year, outside of the country.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To feel free to pursue the things that I am passionate about without having to fear poverty.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: To fear that I am incapable of what I want to achieve. To running away from goals that scare me.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Daniel in Shadow of the Wind, Florentino Ariza from Love in the Time of Cholera
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Elizabeth I, Epictetus, Henry VIII, Victoria and Albert
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: My friends, especially those who are entrepreneurs and work in non-profits.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Lottie WIlkins in Enchanted April- all of those characters, actually.
Your favorite painter?: Caillebotte
Your favorite musician?: Beethoven
The quality you most admire in a man?: Honesty both with himself and those he cares about
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Courage and generosity

Your favorite occupation?: Reading, especially while travelling on a train.
Who would you have liked to be?: A published author before age 30.
Your most marked characteristic?: Curiosity, alomst to a fault in that I can't go as deep with anything as I'd like before becoming curious about something else.
What do you most value in your friends?: Trust and kindness
What is your principle defect?: Lack of belief in myself and my abilities.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To lose the ability to be myself and survive in the world.
What would you like to be?: A successful author and a committed partner in a lifetime relationship
What is your favorite color?: There are so many! Maroon, dusty Rose... olive or pea green.

What event in military history do you most admire?: The attack at Fort Mc Henry in Baltimore during the American Revolution... right by my Mom's old house!
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The ability to manifest money through my work and whatever level I need it.
How would you like to die?: Peacefully at home.
What is your present state of mind?: Both excitement and anxiety over changes I am currently making in my life and work.
What is your motto?: I'm too old for this shit. To be used whenever I feel stuck in a useless situation after I turned 30.
