- To be able to know love. To have a family. To be able to create.

- To live, having unfulfilled potential.

- Those who recognize that change, and by default, a better life, starts with themselves. Their own actions determine their happiness. They grow as people, learning to accept the things that make them who they are.

- Malcolm X. Martin Luther King Jr. Also, men and women like them who provided me an opportunity for the life I have.

- Women who are accepting, creative, and humble.

- The pursuit of knowledge on things one may not understand. The desire to not fall victim to complacency.

- Creating playlists. Sharing music. Talking about music. Writing about music.

- I would have loved to be Dave Chappelle in another life.

- Never to have known my gran. She's definitely the most important woman in my life. She raised me when my mother wasn't fit to, been there for me when she wasn't. More of a second mother, than a grandparent.
