What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Working every day with the same evil people.
Where would you like to live?: Multiple places according to my whim of the moment.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be free of constraint.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: I don't understand the question.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Strong characters of action led by a firm moral core and a self code of conduct.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: I'm drawn to those persons who have shown unique inventiveness and creativity.... not just in the arts.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Those that live true to themselves.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: I'm thinking of Jane Austen's female leading ladies: smart women who refuse to be duped by men with ulterior motives. Men in general aren't bad, but there are always the bad apples.
Your favorite painter?: Not just one, and I don't know the name of all. I can only start with Monet, Mary Cassat, Renoir....
Your favorite musician?: Again can't choose a single one, but I like many styles from different eras and artists. It's whatever strikes my mood at the time.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Strong mentally and physically with a moral core and set of principles that he lives by. Compassion. Kindness. Humor.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: The same as above.
Your favorite virtue?: Loyalty and kindness.
Your favorite occupation?: Being with friends.
Who would you have liked to be?: Professionally: A book publisher. Personally: A wife and mother. Essentially: A normal, non-crazy person raised by normal, non-crazy parents.
Your most marked characteristic?: Cynicism
What do you most value in your friends?: Loyalty, kindness, humor.
What is your principle defect?: Cynicism.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: The answer is so hideous that I don't want to answer the question.
What would you like to be?: Free.
What is your favorite color?: Yellow. Blue is my comfort color.
What is your favorite flower?: A pretty one.
What is your favorite bird?: A pretty one.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Don't know.
Who are your favorite poets?: Don't know.
Who are your heroes in real life?: Strong people who know how to effectively communicate with others. A very rare trait.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: don't feel like answering this again.
What are your favorite names?: The names of my closest friends.
What is it you most dislike?: Evilness.
What historical figures do you most despise?: I concur with Proust's answer.
What event in military history do you most admire?: Couldn't say.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: I concur with Proust's answer.
How would you like to die?: Free.
What is your present state of mind?: Foggy due to having to work early mornings. Irritable at having to work early mornings in an annoying environment with certain evil people (and some really nice one's too!) and feeling like my life is a waste.
What is your motto?: Whatever.
