What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To fail to meet your own standards.
Where would you like to live?: On the fringes of a metropolis, where I can either indulge in culture or hide from it.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be drowning in creativity, art, and music. To work voluntarily because the work inspires you, and not from a need to subsist. To realize yourself to a point where life becomes a game you adore playing.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: The fear of creative failure and an inconsequential life. Alcohol. My desire to be alone.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Those who express the will to live, or the will to power, and who wrestle with their own condition.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Rosa Luxemburg. Jun Tsuji. David Bowie. Socrates. Augustus Caesar. Too many.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: A woman who throws herself at life without fear, and who loves music more than anything else in the world.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Women who defy culture's need to masculinize them into understood roles of power, yet are still soaring, incredible characters. Women as women, and as people, and not caricatures.
Your favorite painter?: Edwin Church. Picasso. Beksinski.
Your favorite musician?: Mozart.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Comradeship. Creativity, intelligence.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Creativity, intelligence, ambition.
Your favorite virtue?: Honour or courage.
Your favorite occupation?: Music, either playing or composing. Acting.
Who would you have liked to be?: David Bowie, to experience a mind that exceeded my own in every conceivable way.
Your most marked characteristic?: The contradictions.

What is your principle defect?: Depression. A constant struggle to force my way past the anhedonia.

How would you like to die?: I'd rather avoid it, or at least have a few centuries of life behind me.
What is your present state of mind?: Melancholy. Hungry. Frustrated at my slowness. Anxious about my funds.
What is your motto?: Not a motto, but most things are a matter of persistence. That fact reassures me in my darkest moments of self-doubt.
