What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Although I am a pessimist, I try not to think about the lowest depth of misery.
Where would you like to live?: In the middle of the city, where one could walk in the crowds.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To live in proximity to those I love and in proximity to things I love.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: I'm not a very indulgent person.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Probably Artemis Fowl. I think I almost fell in love with him once.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, and the Bronte sisters.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: My mom. Singer/songwriters who are talented although not well-known.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Elizabeth Bennet from Pride and Prejudice and Rosalind from As You Like It.
Your favorite painter?: Monet.
Your favorite musician?: It changes every day.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Sensitivity, intelligence.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Selflessness. I dislike girls who are obnoxious.
Your favorite virtue?: The will to learn.
Your favorite occupation?: Playing music, reading.
Who would you have liked to be?: I would have liked to be myself, I should think.
Your most marked characteristic?: Ambition.
What do you most value in your friends?: How we think alike.
What is your principle defect?: Selfishness.

What would you like to be?: A job? Playwright/author/singer/songwriter.
What is your favorite color?: At the moment, green.
What is your favorite flower?: Carnation.
What is your favorite bird?: Chickadee.

Who are your favorite poets?: Shakespeare, Lewis Caroll.
Who are your heroes in real life?: It changes all the time.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: The female writers who were obligated to have male pen names.
What are your favorite names?: For boys: Noah, William, Finn, Simon... None yet for girls.
What is it you most dislike?: Ignorance.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Hitler. I know, very unoriginal.
What event in military history do you most admire?: The strategy for D-Day in World War II.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: To be able to write well all the time.
How would you like to die?: In a swordfight, defending my life. Hopefully on the back of a dragon.
What is your present state of mind?: Peacefulness. But less peaceful now that I have to think about it.
What is your motto?: Reach for the stars. Cheesy, but accurate.
