What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Losing a loving mother.
Where would you like to live?: In Peace.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Being in love and having that love reciprocated.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Surrendering to sins of the flesh.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Pretty much any Biblical "character".
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Pretty much any Biblical "character".
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Nurturing mothers.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Any woman who fought against the tyranny of a system, a country or a man...and won!
Your favorite painter?: A personal friend of mine. No one famous or infamous.
Your favorite musician?: Aretha Franklin. Her piano skills have their own voice.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Integrity
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Honesty
Your favorite virtue?: Compassion
Your favorite occupation?: Teaching
Who would you have liked to be?: The nicer part of myself, for the majority of my days.
Your most marked characteristic?: Resilience. Never giving up even when giving up seems like the only option left.
What do you most value in your friends?: Loyalty.
What is your principle defect?: Defensiveness,
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Having never been in love...even if the moment was fleeting.
What would you like to be?: I don't aspire to be a what, but a who. I'd like to be recognized as a person, not a thing.
What is your favorite color?: It was blue as a young child, then became green as an adult. Now I'm back to blue. Perhaps I'm having a full circle moment.
What is your favorite flower?: The romantic standby...the rose.
What is your favorite bird?: Peacocks.

Who are your heroes in real life?: People who fearlessly champion for those they love without expecting anything in return.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: I always admired the tenacity of Shirley Chisholm.
What are your favorite names?: Lover. Husband. Partner. Friend
What is it you most dislike?: Betrayal...dishonesty.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Hitler would have to be somewhere at the very top...or bottom of such a list.
What event in military history do you most admire?: Any event that brings our troops back home...alive.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The power of persuasion.
How would you like to die?: Peacefully.
What is your present state of mind?: Relaxed, though not content.
What is your motto?: Be at peace with yourself. Never give up.
