What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To be without my family, most of all them, forever.
Where would you like to live?: High desert Arizona on a ranchette.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be in harmony with my family and friends in a comfortable house.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Being without my kids.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Believe it or not, Orry Main from the North and South series.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, Mamah Borthwick
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Married, working moms who somehow (unbeknownst to me) figure it ALL out!

How would you like to die?: With people mourning my passing and remembering the good things I had done.
What is your present state of mind?: Settled, calm and upbeat
