What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To be all alone in the world; stripped of family, stripped of security. Laid bare to be jeered at without help from anyone.
Where would you like to live?
Where I am loved, and where I am free.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
To have the feeling of forever lying in a meadow full of the sweetest flowers, where the clouds never come, holding the hand(s) of the one(s) I love.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
Overindulgence, and a kind of arrogance.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
Nick Carraway and those like him, those who see the truth in this world. They see what all the others can't, and yet they do not brag of this, instead speak this truth calmly and clearly.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
JFK, John Lennon, Tony Blair, Neville Chamberlain.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
Both my grandmothers, who to all intents and purposes, sacrificed their own genius and worth for their families, albeit in different ways. My mother is too close to home for me to admit that she is a heroine too, although anyone would confirm this.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
Women in fiction distress and annoy me, I have not yet found the perfect one. Perhaps there is no such thing.
Your favorite painter?
I have only studied Monet. So I choose him, for 'The Poppies of Argenteuil.'
Your favorite musician?
Sir James Paul McCartney, Beatle, Wing, soloist. The man himself is a melody to behold.
The quality you most admire in a man?
Intelligence, caring, appreciation of his self worth.
The quality you most admire in a woman?
Strength, courage, loving. Being the best of mothers.
Your favorite virtue?
Serenity.
Your favorite occupation?
Dreaming dreams of days gone by/days that may once be true.
Who would you have liked to be?
I would have liked to be me, with bit more confidence and belief, and if not me, as close as I could possibly get.
Your most marked characteristic?
Needing to be shown I am wanted, wanted and loved. Needing to be loved but in the truly epic sense, as in the tomes of great literature.
What do you most value in your friends?
Their love for one another, and their need to defend one another to outsiders, no matter the cost.
What is your principle defect?
Being my own worst enemy. Take from that what you will.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
Never to have met him. Never to have felt what I have felt, for I now know what is possible.
What would you like to be?
I would like to be the me I see in the mirror when alone in my room, but in the company of those dearest to me in my life. Whether I like it or not, the mirror me is my real self, and I am perpetually denying who I am once I walk away from that glass.
What is your favorite color?
The greens and blues and reds of a world blending together seamlessly.
What is your favorite flower?
The violet.

The dove.

F. Scott Fitzgerald, E.M.Forster, Evelyn Waugh

W.B.Yeats, Shakespeare, and all those whose random fragments of poems come to me but I do not know their names.

All of the Beatles, Alan Rickman, Mr. William Coyle, Mr. Denis Walsh, my father

I have none.
What are your favorite names?
Matthew, Thomas, Stephen, Paul, Amelia, Luighseach.
What is it you most dislike?
My recurring inability to stay in control.
What historical figures do you most despise?
Hitler, Stalin. Marie Antoinette.
What event in military history do you most admire?
Christmas Day, I forget the year, in WW1 where the opposing soldiers called truce and played football with one another.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?
The ability to recognise the moments that matter and act there and then, and the ability to let others know how I feel through words or actions. I seldom do either.
How would you like to die?
Revered by the people who knew me, and admired by those who did not. As for the practical sense, I should like to have an interesting but unhorrific death.
What is your present state of mind?
Slight irritation, slight anxiety. Knowing inner peace is available in my heart, I have just have to reach the right mindset in order to feel it.
What is your motto?
It always changes, and sometimes changes back to a previous one, but I think mainly to never let anyone tell you what is best for you and accept their word as gospel. Always look inside yourself as well, if not before.
