What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To feel all the weight and significance of the universe looming indifferently over my rather pathetic shoulders - to feel that my place in it all is worthless and incomprehensible...
Where would you like to live?
In a property I own or part-own, so that I can begin to feel independent.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
To be surrounded by those whom I feel truly like and trust me and vice versa, and to have sufficient wealth to live comfortably.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
Apathy and laziness.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
Those who are multi-faceted in character and attitude; generally I do prefer the heroes, but have sympathy for villians too.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
I don't really have any. Certainly not Margaret Thatcher!
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
Those who are confident in themselves but accommodating for others.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
Usually the kind women. They can be gun-toting, foul-mouthed or sarcastic, but if their main motive is kindness or a desire to protect 'good things', I fall for them.
Your favorite painter?
Van Gogh.
Your favorite musician?
Murray Gold. Bit of a nerd here.
The quality you most admire in a man?
Emotional sensitivity (preferably coupled with a sense of humour), kindness.
The quality you most admire in a woman?
Again, kindness.
Your favorite virtue?
Kindness; i.e. tolerance, forgiveness, patience and a wide trust and like of people, making others feel comfortable.
Your favorite occupation?
Writing.
Who would you have liked to be?
William Shakespeare? I'd have made back-up copies of 'Love's Labours Won', let me tell you.
Your most marked characteristic?
I'm told that it's my sweet nature. I'd say it's my bad teeth.
What do you most value in your friends?
Sense of humour and kindness both equal here. Not necessarily at the same time...
What is your principle defect?
Continuous procrasination, and inability to alter this fact.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
The loss of all the people I cherish. Living forever alone from them would be heart-breaking.
What would you like to be?
A writer, and a kinder person, myself.
What is your favorite color?
Various shades of blue.
What is your favorite flower?
The sunflower.
What is your favorite bird?
Most kinds of owl or bird of prey.
Who are your favorite prose writers?
John Steinbeck and Arthur Conan-Doyle.

Shakespeare, Tennyson.
Who are your heroes in real life?
Principally people who are established writers; I gain inspiration from them.

None, really.

I don't really know.

Aspects of myself.

Margaret Thatcher.

I'm not a particular admirer of military events.

Will power.

Aged and at peace, having accomplished some of my goals in life.

Faintly distressed.
What is your motto?
"Oh, sod it" (it's become my catchphrase to force myself into doing things I should be doing instead of worrying about them)
