What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To look back on my life and wonder what I did with the time that I was given, to lose hope that things will change.
Where would you like to live?
In an old Victorian house high up on a hill filled with happiness, love, and lots of character.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
To be surrounded by those that I love with a pile of books by my side.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
My own insecurities, pride, selfishness when it comes to material goods.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
Those that seem most real with their own flaws, evils, and heartbreak.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
Those that strive to change the world and better the lives of those around them.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
A woman who sticks to her morals and isn't afraid to speak her mind. One who values life and all it has to offer.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
Those who have flaws that make them come alive by forcing them to face their demons head on.
Your favorite painter?
Gustav Klimt
Your favorite musician?
Currently? I have a soft spot for Ron Pope. Frank Sinatra and Conway Twitty are always an excellent pair though.
The quality you most admire in a man?
Loyalty is my number one quality, although I have many more that I now look for after being hurt too many times.
The quality you most admire in a woman?
Compassion, strength, humbleness, patience, a sense of humor.
Your favorite virtue?
Loyalty and compassion go hand in hand for me.
Your favorite occupation?
Creativity and the time to indulge in it. If I could, I would be a personal reader and writer.
Who would you have liked to be?
I wouldn't want to be anyone else but myself, even though I have days where things aren't so bright.

Compassion, love, and value
What do you most value in your friends?
Loyalty, honesty, humor, emotion, a shoulder to lean on and an ear to listen.
What is your principle defect?
Lack of self-confidence and at times loss of self
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
To never have had the family and friends that I have, currently, and will have in my life.
What would you like to be?
A counselor who writes into the wee hours of the night on things that no one may ever see, yet they mean the most.
What is your favorite color?
Purple although I do happen to love the color of the ocean as the sun rises over it. I would call that: hope.
What is your favorite flower?
Lilies
What is your favorite bird?
The dove since they have been with me since the beginning.

Walt Whitman
Who are your favorite poets?
I have a soft spot for e.e. cummings along with those who create with their words a picture for the mind.
Who are your heroes in real life?
My father and my grandfather.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?
My mother and my grandmother.
What are your favorite names?
Way too many to count but currently I love Alyssa and Julian.
What is it you most dislike?
My own insecurities with myself and the world around me.

Clarity of the mind and of the heart
