What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: When my companion had done wrong, the only way to make right was to put him out of his misery...
Where would you like to live?: I fantasize about living on a small piece of land, where I could be a ranch hand and live off my land.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Living off the fatta the lan, along with my best companions.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: To work for so much, but to get so little.

Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: To be so strong, yet so weak. A lady with such high responcibilities had succeeded.

The quality you most admire in a woman?: No time for women, but if I had to choose it would be the ability to keep me in line

What is your present state of mind?: To live the American Dream by having a farmhouse with Lennie and not having to jump from ranch to ranch.
