What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To find that no one loves you, including yourself.
Where would you like to live?: Facing the sunlight so that it spills onto my things and makes me feel connected to my home. Above the city, on a hill.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To have a deeply close-knit group of friends that might as well be family, to never want for anything except the love you feel and the goodness brought out of you by others.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Living too long in the dark, Always guarding myself due to life's conditioning, Being too hard on myself.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Lucifer or those of rebellious, enlightened nature. Underdogs.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: All stages of David Bowie, Lord Byron, Oscar Wilde, Charles Bukowski, Luis Bunuel.. People who were really out there before it was acceptable.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Maya Angelou, Nina Simone, ... Tough, Strong, Intelligent women who've been through some real shit and used it to their benefit through ultimate means of expression.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Those who see other women as equals rather than competition, who are tender but not door mats.
Your favorite painter?: Odilon Redon, Caravaggio, John Lurie, Mickalene Thomas, I could go on... I can't choose just one.
Your favorite musician?: Still can't pick one. Prince, Fela Kuti, PJ Harvey, Afghan Whigs, Mark Lanegan.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Intelligence with humility, kindness, empathy, and a thoughtful, dark sense of humor, spontaneity, Also really dirty with good sexual chemistry.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: The same thing I look for in men, but with the ability to not let society determine her worth.
Your favorite virtue?: Resilience and the ability to stay strong yet tender.
Your favorite occupation?: Musician, Actress, Writer, Renaissance Woman. Too hungry to stop at one thing.
Who would you have liked to be?: A cat.
Your most marked characteristic?: My tendency to be reserved, though, often mistaken for being shy. I am not shy, just lost in thought.
What do you most value in your friends?: Their unconditional love in all things, Their ability to make everything funny and light even if it's taboo.
What is your principle defect?: My cloak of depression that often keeps my confidence low. It is a battle that I wage every day because I know I am the opposite in my core.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To lose out on life and experiences due to fear.
What would you like to be?: The most refined version of my character. a bright, eternal flame not afraid to go out.
What is your favorite color?: Dusty Rose or "Rose Gold" and shades of grey.. Though, I tend to gravitate to red almost unconsciously.
What is your favorite flower?: Magnolias, Hydrangea, Camellia, Roses.
What is your favorite bird?: Little tubby Wrens and elegant Swans.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Alice Walker, Hermann Hesse, Toni Morrison.
Who are your favorite poets?: Anaïs Nin, Danny Bland, Patti Smith, Bukowski.
Who are your heroes in real life?: My sisters: Sapphyre and Billi, My friend and "sister" Keely, her mother Andrea, and her grandmother for being strong and at my side no matter what.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Pam Greer, Patti Smith, Kim Gordon.. Historical heroines to me.
What are your favorite names?: Roman, Petra, Elettra, Fiorina, Apollonia, Isabel, Marc, Guillermo, Gregorio, Emilio.
What is it you most dislike?: Being abandoned emotionally and physically. Disingenuous behavior. Tell me the truth no matter how much it hurts because I can deal with that better than always being left to wonder.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Most of them. Anyone willing to enslave/dehumanize, take resources, rape, murder, etc.
What event in military history do you most admire?: When Daenerys Targaryen became Khaleesi.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The ability to tell who is a good person right away and who has ulterior motives.
How would you like to die?: Softly.
What is your present state of mind?: Trying to meet self-awareness with love and compassion.
What is your motto?: Love anyway.
