What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To be forced to destroy the person or thing you care for most, after having lost everything and everyone else you loved.
Where would you like to live?: Somewhere hidden, but not far from fun, where I could go when I wanted to be alone.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: A challenge, a game, excitement, a chance to learn, and a place to rest.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: To the faults I own, so long as they are mine.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: The ones who aren't too stupid, too perfect, or too loved by the author.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: The women who know what they want and who they are, and don't compromise on either.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: The clever ones who play the rest like it's a game. That doesn't come off well in real life.
Your favorite musician?: I don't know. Celldweller? Acappella? Beethoven? Evanescence?
The quality you most admire in a man?: Cleverness.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Intelligence.
Your favorite virtue?: Gullibility.
Your favorite occupation?: Reading, studying what I don't have to, and taking risks.
Who would you have liked to be?: Now there's a wide field. Hmm. Sherlock Holmes.
Your most marked characteristic?: Honesty; I don't have any, but you wouldn't believe how sure everyone around me is that my word is as reliable as truth itself.
What do you most value in your friends?: Intelligence, so they're worth being friends with. Resources, so they can give me what I want. Naivete, so they will give me what I want.
What is your principle defect?: My temper.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Damnation.
What would you like to be?: Immortal.
What is your favorite color?: When I was young I loved red.
What is your favorite flower?: Honeysuckle. It's yummy.
What is your favorite bird?: I like hawks.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Too many to list. Let's go with Terry Pratchett, Susanne Clarke, Eoin Colfer, and Andre Norton for now, shall we?
Who are your favorite poets?: Emily Dickinson.
Who are your heroes in real life?: I'm not sure I have any.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: I know I don't have any of these.
What are your favorite names?: Ones with interesting meanings and roundish sounds.
What is it you most dislike?: Boredom.
What historical figures do you most despise?: I neither despise nor admire any historical figure. They're just not that important to me.
What event in military history do you most admire?: Whenever one man was clever but another was cleverer, I admire the beauty of the victory.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: I already possess pretty much every natural gift there is.
How would you like to die?: After you.
What is your present state of mind?: Not bored.
What is your motto?: Hmm. 'Mine.'
