What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To be without love!
Where would you like to live?: Wherever the gods and gold shall lead me, friend!
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: A deal well managed, a contract well fulfilled
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Pretty girls
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Successful seducers! May my tongue one day be as silver as theirs!
Who are your favorite characters in history?: My studies have never been very focused on history but if I had to choose, the mischievous Syrani
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: All women are of keen interest to me.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Those of the wild romances!
Your favorite painter?: Any whose works may turn a pretty coin...and my own, of course!
Your favorite musician?: There is a bard that plays in a tavern in Raven's Deep that I'm quite fond of. My father often makes me stand watch, hidden outside the window when he meets with a particular client there. The bard helps to pass the time. I wish I could play the lute.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Those attributes which make a man successful in our work -- intelligence, cunning, and a certain amount of ambition.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: The same as I prefer in men, only housed within a prettier form and a willing nature.
Your favorite virtue?: Silence and secrecy.
Your favorite occupation?: The arts, reading, and practicing my stealth training. Father says that a wealth of knowledge, quick fingers, and a light step play an imperative role in the family business.
Who would you have liked to be?: I can't think of a suitable answer to this one.
Your most marked characteristic?: My charm and winning smile!
What do you most value in your friends?: A sense of humor. Laughter brings people closer. It disarms them.
What is your principle defect?: I am sometimes far more cautious than a situation warrants.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To bring dishonor to my family and my ancestors.
What would you like to be?: I Should like to inherit my father's place as the Duca of House Asinii...with Ligeia as my Ducessa
What is your favorite color?: Would you believe it's not black? Many mistake it as such because I wear it so frequently but that is just a necessity of my line of work.
What is your favorite flower?: There is but one flower whose unequaled virtues have utterly ensnared me, my friend. Alas, I have not yet laid claim to her.
What is your favorite bird?: That wise and silent hunter the owl.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: All of them! I am an equal opportunity patron of the literary arts!
Who are your favorite poets?: I believe my previous answer covers this question.
What are your favorite names?: I like all names! They help to avoid confusion. Think of the chaos if we could only address each other "you there!"
What is it you most dislike?: Do we really need to discuss such things? Why not ask me something a bit less pessimistic?
What historical figures do you most despise?: What good does it do to despise historical figures? They're already dead.
What event in military history do you most admire?: The day I took the contract employing me and my house as Ligeia's eyes and ears throughout the empire.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: I believe we've already talked of flowers.
How would you like to die?: I shouldn't like to die at all!
What is your present state of mind?: Truthfully, I am flattered that you've such an interest in me...truly I am...but my heart lies beating within my flower's garden.
What is your motto?: Oh, I don't know...honor among thieves and all that? Does that sqaure with your notion of my kind?
