What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Life without Love which itself includes art, music, words and all things beautiful.
Where would you like to live?: Where happiness is a right and not a luxury.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Earning money for doing only that which pleases me.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: My greatest fault is underestimating myself and others.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Grendel, Harry Potter.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Maya Angelou, Plato, Malcolm X and Elizabeth Catlett.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Harriet Tubman.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Storm (X-Men).
Your favorite painter?: Jean-Michel Basquiat.
Your favorite musician?: Jimi Hendrix, Carlos Santana, Fela Kuti.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Honesty and humility.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Honesty and humility.

Your favorite occupation?: Any occupation that allows a person to fulfill their potential.
Who would you have liked to be?: Dorothy Dandridge or Vonetta McGee (She got to be with The Mack!!)

What do you most value in your friends?: Humility, honesty, and humor.
What is your principle defect?: Impatience.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Life without love or laughter. Though I'm not sure you can have one without the other.
What would you like to be?: Fulfilled and actualized.
What is your favorite color?: Purple for its feminine and regal qualities, black for its mystery and yellow for it's happiness.
What is your favorite flower?: Lilies and daisies.
What is your favorite bird?: Never thought of it but...hummingbirds are extremely interesting.
Who are your favorite prose writers?: Ralph Ellison, Aldous Huxley, JK Rowling
Who are your favorite poets?: Nikki Giovanni, Countee Cullen
Who are your heroes in real life?: My parents and grandparents who were brave enough to face life, that I might do the same.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Kentake, Isis (if she counts).
What are your favorite names?: My own and the ones I will one day give my kids.
What is it you most dislike?: Dishonesty.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Anyone who perpetuated or initiated oppression in any form or fashion.
What event in military history do you most admire?: Gabriel's Rebellion (does that count?)
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Charm. Definitely.
How would you like to die?: Happy, loved and on a full stomach.
What is your present state of mind?: Peaceful and introspective.
What is your motto?: Mottos are too fixed to handle the complexities of life. I like to adjust on the run.
