What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: The thought of any of my kids being out in the world alone, helpless, and needing me. And me not being able to be there.
Where would you like to live?: I think having a cottage--with enough space for the kids--in the country somewhere.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To be with my family.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: I try to live the lord's word and to teach the kids, but it's hard. I feel like I may have to rest on the lord to help teach my kids, I work a lot. I have to though.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Oh my heck, I don't even know. Gregory Peck as Atticus Finch.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Oh...I dunno. I guess Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis...that poor woman. She really held it together.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Martha Stewart! Could you imagine!
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Mary Breydon from that Louis L'amour novel. I really like the old west.
Your favorite painter?: Oh! I like Monet.
Your favorite musician?: I don't really listen to a lot. I like the Mormon Tabernacle Choir.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Restraint. Dedication. Discipline.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Compassion, being a good mother and wife, and--I think--strength.
Your favorite virtue?: Faith
Your favorite occupation?: It isn't really an occupation. I love Christmas with the family. That's my favorite occupation!
Who would you have liked to be?: God wanted me to be me. So...myself.
Your most marked characteristic?: I'm a mother.
What do you most value in your friends?: Their kindness, and shoulders to lean on.
What is your principle defect?: I get frustrated.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: Just thinking about one of my kids dying...kills me. I'm nauseous just thinking abou tit.

Who are your heroes in real life?: The prophet. I mean, he leads the church!

What are your favorite names?: Juanita Chickita O'Toole. We had a parakeet named that growing up.
What is it you most dislike?: My shortcomings as a mother.
What historical figures do you most despise?: Ooh. I try not to despise. I dislike dishonest men.
What event in military history do you most admire?: Oh, I don't know about that. I don't like wars...
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The ability to make my kids mind. I'm kidding...well, only partway. I would like to heal people.
How would you like to die?: I want to die happy.
What is your present state of mind?: A little worried. Buck wants to play football and I'm just not a fan. I know that that's what boys do, but gosh. I'm just worried that he'll hurt himself.
What is your motto?: I like the Lord's Prayer.
