Where would you like to live?: Everywhere
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Love. Intellectual challenge. Giving something back.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Smoking, overthinking everything, and not remembering how lucky I am.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Those whose stories mean something to you when you read them.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Mostly British royals
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Strong, independent women who use their intellect and talents to contribute something other than children to the world.

Your favorite painter?: Don't have one. But "The Lady of Shallott" (by Waterhouse and based on Tennyson's poem) is my favorite painting.
Your favorite musician?: Too many.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Strength, intellect, a sense of humor, loyalty, confidence
The quality you most admire in a woman?: The ability to be feminine but not a slave to traditional gender roles, loyalty, compassion
