What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Stagnant mundanity somewhere boring with no company.
Where would you like to live?: Somewhere with progressive, inclusive politics, a well developed culture, and an aptly educated population that provides ample opportunity for success and happiness.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Sharing my life and experiences with those I love. Experiencing as much of the world as I can, with a mind as open as possible.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: Too much work
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Zorro and Robin Hood, Phileas Fogg (and most of Verne's protagonists), D'Artagnan,

Your favorite virtue?: Compassion
Your favorite occupation?: Travel, culture, food (preparation and consuming)
Who would you have liked to be?: No one but myself really.
Your most marked characteristic?: Deliberate, honest and loyal
What do you most value in your friends?: Graciousness, loyalty, open-mindedness
What is your principle defect?: Lack of motivation in endeavors that I deem mundane. There are many of these endeavors. I do not count this as a defect. Not counting it as a defect is probably also a defect.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?: To have never left the small corner of the world where I was born and raised
What would you like to be?: I like Proust's answer. I'll take the same
What is your favorite color?: I don't have one. I like them all
What is your favorite flower?: Orchids, roses. Most of them are nice really.
What is your favorite bird?: Penguin

Who are your favorite poets?: Though I appreciate the art, poetry is not my strong point. Is there a difference between a prose writer and a poet?
Who are your heroes in real life?: My father and grandfather. Jose Mujica,
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: Joan of Arc, Isabella of Castille (who I highly respect and dislike), Nefertiti
What are your favorite names?: That depends almost wholy on the person I attach them to
What is it you most dislike?: Willful ignorance, bigotry, injustice
What historical figures do you most despise?: Hitler
What event in military history do you most admire?: Any in which a native people was able to defend themselves from invaders.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: Will power and confidence
How would you like to die?: Satisfied and proud of what I've done and seen. Loved by my friends and family.
What is your present state of mind?: Mostly cold and mildly annoyed at having to be at work. Missing my children, and wishing I were with them and my betrothed somewhere warmer than England in January.
What is your motto?: I personally find adherence to mottos to be limiting and as such I don't have any one motto for any length of time.
