What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
Rejection, physical pain, failure.
Where would you like to live?
Somewhere older than the US. Possibly Spain or Peru.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
Love. To see the fruition of your efforts.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
Unhealthy gluttony, sloth, carnal desires.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
A human who sacrifices and pains, and finds reward.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
I find myself wishing I knew more history, as always. Those few that conquered the many.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
Eunice Kennedy Shriver; Heather Hickerson; and hopefully, someday, myself.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
The strong and flawed.

Audrey Kawasaki. Hands down.

Modest Mouse.

Endeavor.

Daring.

A craving to be useful, loved.

Character and fidelity.

Lack of inertia. Seeking outside approval.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
To have become another ditzy, flakey, woman. To have no substance.

A better version of me: stronger, healthier, and having known myself better, sooner.

The bright green of plant buds, right before they explode into color.

The blue hydrangeas growing outside my window, and pink peonies.

The phoenix.

Edgar Allen Poe; William Shakespeare.
Who are your heroes in real life?
Professors James W. Jones and Mahlon Smith, who thought me how to think. My grandmother, for the character and opportunities she gave me, the art she made, and the lesson that a life's passion can never be let fade.

Rosa Parks, Cleopatra, Joan of Arc.
What are your favorite names?
Ava, Isabella, Bernard, Sadie, Lucius, Finn.
What is it you most dislike?
Inefficiency. Physical pain. Mint.
What historical figures do you most despise?
Those that prayed on the weaker.
What event in military history do you most admire?
I am so vastly undereducated in this area, but I want to say the WWI Christmas Truce.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?
Confidence. And a high metabolism.
How would you like to die?
Peacefully, not alone. Fulfilled and much beloved.
