- What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
- Having to spend another year with my parents' old house.
- Where would you like to live?
- Somewhere quiet, but close enough to access big city entertainment.
- What is your idea of earthly happiness?
- Simplicity. To live with minimal material clutter. My wife used to clutter every room in our house. It cluttered both of our brains.
- To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
- I often discount my work for people of limited means.
- Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
- I like action and adventure heroes that take great risks to save lots of people like Bruce Willis in "Die Hard."
- Who are your favorite characters in history?
- Aristotle, "It is during our darkest moments that we must focus to see the light."
- Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
- My mother is my favorite heroine. She taught me thrift, generosity, and the value of learning a trade.
- Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
- My mother liked romances. She told me about the women that always gave the men a run for their money. I like that kind of character.

- Leonardo Da Vinci...probably because he was a man of science and invention as well as an artist.
- Your favorite musician?
- Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Pearl Jam...pretty much anything with grit, meaning, and a banging' beat.
- The quality you most admire in a man?
- Consideration. My father was the most considerate man I've ever known. Very thoughtful and mindful of others.
- The quality you most admire in a woman?
- Sexy. Loving. Kind. A great partner who works as hard as I do.

- Definitely kindness. Do unto others and all that.
- Your favorite occupation?
- I shouldn't admit this, but I love picking wild flowers while walking in a country field.

- I think I would have liked to experience life as my grandfather. He was industrious and wise. He rose out of the dust of the Great Depression.
- Your most marked characteristic?
- As a woodworker, I have a pronounced appreciation for how things are built. I'm always on the look out for quality craftsmanship.
- What do you most value in your friends?
- Good conversation, ready to help at a moment's notice, quick to alert me when I'm about to do something stupid.
- What is your principle defect?
- I'm kind of a perfectionist. I get irritated when I'm interrupted while working.
- What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
- To have been raised by someone other than my own parents.

- I'm actually pretty darn content being who I am. I'm pretty self-contained.

- I love the stained colors cherry wood and maple.

- I love the diversity and colors of wildflowers.

- No favorites. I like to see multiple colors on birds, though. They are extraordinary.

- Orwell and Twain. Edgy and Adventurous.

- Musicians are my favorite poets.

- Aside from Mom and Dad, I'm very fond of my mentor who taught me some awesome trade secrets and life lessons.

- Lazy people. Mean people. Picky people.

- Pretty much anyone that acted out of ego and not for the greater good.

- I have to give this some thought.

- I would love to be able to compose music.

- With a chisel in my hand.

- Pretty relaxed. I'm sitting on my porch drinking a beer.
