What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?
To reject God and His love for us openly and brazenly, living for oneself, will lead to misery during one's life.
Where would you like to live?
I would like to live in the state I live in now (Maryland). the Mid- to Lower American South (example, Tennessee or North Carolina), or somewhere in the South of France (ex: Avignon or Provence.)
What is your idea of earthly happiness?
I agree with Proust that "o live in contact with those I love, with the beauties of nature, with a quantity of books and music," is wonderful.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?
I find my coffee addiction, perfectionism, procrastination, and at times, selfishness to be the faults to which I am most often indulgent.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?
Goodness sakes; I'd have to say Edmund Dantes and Elizabeth Bennet are my favorite fictional heroes presently.
Who are your favorite characters in history?
Jesus Christ, God the Son; Esther, Ruth, Mary the Mother of God, Judith, Paul, Peter....there are many to name indeed!
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?
My mother is indeed my favorite such heroine.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?
Elizabeth Bennet again comes to mind.

Michaelangelo

Wow. I have too many to name.

Esther, Ruth, or Mary.

A deep desire to love, be loved, and point others to Jesus.

Honesty and loyalty
What is your principle defect?
Pride and selfishness are my worst defects, I admit.
What to your mind would be the greatest of misfortunes?
Someone, myself included, not knowing Jesus as the One True God and Lord would be the greatest of misfortunes in my mind, as I am a devoted Christian.
What would you like to be?
I would like to be a more devoted and loving person to God and my loved ones than I am now.
What is your favorite color?
I like red, black, light blue, dark blue, pink, magenta, fuschia, violet, white, cream, yellow, khaki, kale green, grass green and olive green.
What is your favorite flower?
I most love gardenias, roses, honeysuckles, peonies, and magnolias.
What is your favorite bird?
I have always been partial to the Great Horned Owl.
Who are your favorite prose writers?
Jesus and Jane Austen come to mind presently.
Who are your favorite poets?
I have many, but I most prefer the works of Edgar Allan Poe, Francis Jammes, and Paul Claudel presently.
Who are your heroes in real life?
Jesus Christ, my mother, my sister, my best friends, American troops throughout time (especially during the American Revolution, the Civil War, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, and our current war) and many, many Jewish and Christian figures throughout history.
Who are your favorite heroines of history?
The Biblical figures I mentioned above (Ruth, Esther, et cetera), Joan of Arc, Saint Thérèse de Lisieux, and many, many more people come to mind.
What are your favorite names?
Ruth, Esther, Naomi, Mary, Cecilia, Nicole, Agnès, Gabrielle, Thérèse, Anastasia, and many others for girls and women; for boys, I prefer names such as Pierre, Peter, John, Robert, Caleb, Joshua, Edgar, Eymard, Paul...and the list continues.
What is it you most dislike?
I hate my own pride, laziness, selfishness and such on a personal level. On a larger scale, I despise racism, sexism, any form of domestic or child abuse, terrorism, homicide....the list goes on.
What historical figures do you most despise?
Hitler.
What event in military history do you most admire?
The American victories in the Revolution and WWII come to mind presently.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?
I would love to possess the gift of selflessness in a much greater degree than I do now.
How would you like to die?
"A better man than I am, and much beloved" indeed, but I would like more to be known as someone who led people to Jesus and left a legacy for the Triune God.
What is your present state of mind?
I am tired but somehow awake enough to answer this questionnaire, praise God!
What is your motto?
Philippians 3:7-16 best encapsulates my motto at the moment.
