I would normally not tell anyone this, but I want to try and take more chances and be more bold. Here it goes: I have, since childhood, been able to hear the thoughts of people around me. It's something my mother always said to keep to myself. She could do it, too. After she left, I kept the secret of my ability in a way to remember her. I guess I broke my promise, but then again she abandoned me into the care of my father who hated me. I don't owe her a damn thing.
