What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To not be free to be myself.
Where would you like to live?: Wherever I am.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Similar to Proust, except exchange French theater with movie theater. Add animals.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: To enjoy many interests.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: The Scarlet Pimpernel.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: Hypatia, Abraham Lincoln, Alexander the Great, Jesus, Ghengis Khan, the Dalai Lama, Simone de Beauvoir
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: Simone de Beauvoir, my mom, my aunt, several of my friends.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: One that I have created: Francoise de la Foret. (Sorry, I don't have an international keyboard).

The quality you most admire in a man?: Intelligence, sense of humor, sense of adventure, responsible.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: The same. Also emotional warmth and a high degree of intuition.
Your favorite virtue?: Kindness, thoughtfulness toward others, interest in evolving.
Your favorite occupation?: Reading, dreaming, painting and drawing, dancing, walking, metaphysics, foreign languages (esp. French).

What are your favorite names?: So many ... I collect lists of great names. I am very fond of Alexander/Alexandra.
What is it you most dislike?: Ditto; also unkind people
What historical figures do you most despise?: Hitler and his supplicants.
What event in military history do you most admire?: I cannot say.
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The ability to bring happiness to the world.
How would you like to die?: Peacefully with love all around me.
