What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: To have no control, and to be completely helpless.
Where would you like to live?: The Italian countryside in a beautiful, old house.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: A good book, hot tea, sunrises and sunsets. Also, u-pick farms—I’ve never been to one but I desperately want to, as picking strawberries in a field seems romantic for some reason.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: I dislike feeling emotion, so I either bottle it up or numb myself.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: Those with fatal flaws and gray morals.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: I can’t decide! I enjoy mythological figures such as gods and heroes more than real people.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: My sisters.
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Those who are brave and daring but also undeniably 3-dimensional and human.
Your favorite painter?: I love the old masters such as Michelangelo and DaVinci.
Your favorite musician?: Right now I love Rex Orange County and Dua Lipa, but it changes almost monthly.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Gentleness, no fear of showing emotion, a sense of humor.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Bold yet gentle and loving, leadership, a sense of humor.
Your favorite virtue?: Virtues are overrated.
Your favorite occupation?: Writing, drawing, being with my friends, listening to music.
Who would you have liked to be?: Anyone happy and with a stable sense of self.
