What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: Constant ennui.
Where would you like to live?: Here.
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: Love, hate, pain, pleasure, all kept in balance.
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: No fucking clue.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: A mixture of ideal and reality. Ideals representing what we can become, but realism to accept our faults.
Who are your favorite characters in history?: All of them, I suppose. They were the shapers of humanity on a large scale.
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: My mother and grandmother, I suppose. Don't know any "heroines".
Who are your favorite heroines of fiction?: Scheherazade
Your favorite painter?: All of them have their merit and should be appreciated.
Your favorite musician?: Eh, depends on the mood, really.
The quality you most admire in a man?: Intelligence, wisdom.
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Feminine nature, wisdom, strength.
Your favorite virtue?: Wisdom is the foundation of all virtue.
Your favorite occupation?: Realistically: Don't care all that much. Ideally: Writer, psychologist,
Who would you have liked to be?: Historically? Eh, plenty of people.

What is your principle defect?: Lack of self control, arrogant, hypocritical.

How would you like to die?: Peacefully, or while fighting honorably.
