What do you regard as the lowest depth of misery?: being crippled
Where would you like to live?: anywhere else, I am sick of working the farm and being beaten by my dad
What is your idea of earthly happiness?: To not have to work and eat whatever I wanted
To what faults do you feel most indulgent?: I don't know, maybe I get tired of hating my dad.
Who are your favorite heroes of fiction?: I don't have any heroes
Who are your favorite characters in history?: I don't have any
Who are your favorite heroines in real life?: If she were alive it would be my mother, Dolly

Your favorite painter?: Who has time to look at books and paintings.
Your favorite musician?: Good grief, you must think I have time to think about all this stuff - myself I guess, I play a mean frenchsharp
The quality you most admire in a man?: Strong muscles
The quality you most admire in a woman?: Very little i don't admire about a woman unless she is fat
Your favorite virtue?: I know how to work and work well - I am very independent and proud
Your favorite occupation?: plowing
Who would you have liked to be?: any body else that didn't have to work a farm, shuck corn, pull bows,chopped cotton, bail hay,and dehorn, cut, feed cows

What do you most value in your friends?: faithfullness
What is your principle defect?: my long horse face
What would you like to be?: a millionaire that ran a high fluent club where people danced and drank.

What is your favorite bird?: good grief, the only good bird is a dead bird...perhaps a chicken because you get eggs from them

Who are your heroes in real life?: You know I think it is myself...you know how many times I have saved my own life?
Who are your favorite heroines of history?: my mother Dolly - she could pitch hay as good as any man.
What are your favorite names?: Dolly, Imogene
What is it you most dislike?: Being broke, poor, and no money...then asking pappa to loan or give me some money
What historical figures do you most despise?: Again, someone needs to get a life...who cares about history...do they feed you...life is about the present...if you are breathing that is what it's all about.
What event in military history do you most admire?: I don't know of any - it is 1940 - nothing going on...
What natural gift would you most like to possess?: The gift of making money without killing your body
How would you like to die?: Quickly
What is your present state of mind?: Kind of annoyed by these stupid questions...this is time consuming
What is your motto?: Idle hands are the devils playground.
